What is Tijan?
Tijan Islamic Society is a novelist grassroots-based non-profit organization, dedicated to providing educational and character-building programs for today’s Muslim youth. The focus of the organization is to put the care and education of today’s Muslim youth above all else, establishing a nurturing and supportive environment while also providing authentic Islamic education ensuring the prosperity of generations to come. Insh’Allah – Tijan seeks to introduce Hifz School, Tajweed and Recitation Courses, Quranic Wisdom and Lessons Courses, Quranic Interpretation Courses, Arabic Courses, Islamic Studies Courses, Youth Activities and Empowerment, Halaqahs and Khatirahs, A/V Islamic content studio, among other programs and activities geared toward our mission. Our youth are our future. Without their needs being catered to and without the implementation of authentic Islamic knowledge into their lives, the Muslim community in the United States will struggle. We are at a pivotal point in establishing ourselves for generations to come. In order to do so, we must invest in our future.
Our Mission
The mission of Tijan is to foster an environment where the wellbeing of the community –especially our youth – is put above all else, for the sake of Allah (SWT).
